Founder, Winnie Phelan Scuteri was enamoured with the idea of opening a CoWorking space in her home town of Clinton, New Jersey. Winnie is a New York City tour guide who joined a similiar CoWorking space in the heart of NYC in the Flat Iron District. It proved to be an ideal situation as it afforded Winnie a home base and community within the city. Winnie also saw the value a CoWorking space would bring to Hunterdon County as she worked among professionals and entrepreneurs looking for not only office space, but a sense of camaraderie.
Winnie presented the idea to her friend Lisa Fielding, a Public Relations and Branding professional who works with small businesses, The New Jersey Hall of Fame and the Johnson & Johnson Women's Leadership Initiative. Lisa enthusiastically began helping Winnie formulate a plan. Within 24 hours, Lisa was hooked and asked to be a part of the venture. A partnership was born.
Before they knew it, Winnie and Lisa secured a dream location, right in the heart of The Town of Clinton, New Jersey, in Hunterdon County steps from the iconic Red Mill and waterfall. The location offers all the charm of Clinton and with vintage modern furnishings and name The Office Mill, it reflects today's contemporary society lending a nod to the history of the quintessential town.
